50Google Maps is a very valuable map application from Google that allows you to find quickly online specific places like:
Also you can just type in a specific address, or an intersection. You can also restrict your query by entering keywords related to the place you are looking for.
And actually, there are more in free Google Maps than finding a place. The application may also give you driving directions to that place. So, just click Get Directions link on the upper left corner of the page. By default, two boxes will appear, so type your address on the first box then the address of your destination. Then click the Get Directions button. It will give you step-by-step instructions and estimated time of arrival, and street view if available.
Nevertheless, the feature is useful so if you feel being lost sometimes, you can add Google Maps in your mobile phone. It can also be a great tool if you are a businessmen, so you can plot your businesses in the map. And how about a virtual tour on the great places on earth? Check out street views on major cities like in US, France, Australia, and Japan.
